Police believe a man who died near the Dieppe Farmers Market on Saturday morning was crushed by his own vehicle. RCMP were called to scene shortly after 7:30am. Police say it appears the 67-year-old man from Scoudouc was under his vehicle checking the brakes when he was pinned underneath. His wife was working nearby at the Dieppe Farmers Market. The incident is still under investigation and anyone who may have witnessed anything is asked to contact the RCMP.

Fire at Moncton Bell Aliant Building
A Saturday morning fire at the Bell Aliant Building in Moncton will force employees to relocate temporarily. The fire was reported shortly after 4am at the building at 555 Mapleton Road. Fire Investigators tell the CBC they have yet to discover what caused the blaze but have determined it was not suspicious in nature. The fire, which appeared to break out in the rear of the building, took roughly two hours to extinguish. Employees who work at the building are expected to relocate to another Bell Aliant office in the Moncton area.
