Prison time for man who threatened to shoot woman

The victim was disappointed in the four year sentence handed to a Dieppe man for attacking her in February last year, according to the Times and Transcript.

50 year old John Boudreau of Dieppe pleaded guilty earlier to assault with a weapon, uttering death threats and other charges in connection with threatening to kill the woman last year.

The victim was critical of the sentence saying she has to continue living with the trauma of that night. With credit for time served in custody since his arrest, Boudreau will be out in one year nine months…or sooner.
