RCMP are investigating a home invasion in Maugerville early Sunday.
Four or five people broke into the house on Route 105 and assaulted the home owner with a weapon. The Mounties were not specific…but say his injuries were minor. No word if they took anything. The investigation is ongoing.
Prime Minister Trudeau will meet the new president within a month.
Donald Trump’s press secretary Sean Spicer confirmed the upcoming NAFTA discussions yesterday. He exzpects Mexico’s president will be part of the meetings within 30 days or so.
Trump has threatened to rip up NAFTA if they can’t negotiate a new agreement to serve American interests better. But the Trudeau Government has indicated there might be bilateral treaty with the U-S which could preserved most of NAFTA.
