A cat is okay after being in a moving car’s engine. Gypsy crawled into an Echo Drive resident’s vehicle to keep warm, being discovered when the driver stopped for windshield washer fluid. The Times & Transcript reports she was taken to the SPCA, and is okay aside from burned paws. The organization reminds you it’s good to smack your hood or honk before you drive in the winter, just in case this happens.

Premier highlights those involved with storm relief
The premier is highlighting the efforts of everyone helping out with the ice storm aftermath. An estimated 500 people are keeping people warm, fed and more; including volunteers, government workers, first responders, and ground search and rescue teams. Brian Gallant also encourages anyone whose home was damaged to inquire about Disaster Financial Assistance. Learn more about that and continued relief efforts here:
