A Moncton woman has been given 14 months in jail for drug trafficking. 27-year-old Shantelle Isabelle Goguen-Liebeck also got 18 months’ probation for selling crystal meth to an undercover officer. She’s also one of two accused in last month’s robbery at JM’s Convenience, and pleaded not guilty to that. A trial will be set on the 23rd.

Accused in memorial vandalism has courtroom incident
The man accused of vandalizing Victoria Park’s police and firefighter memorials has been sent for a psych assessment. 54-year-old Michael Alexander Ryan had to be forcibly removed from court yesterday after spitting at the judge. He has a history of mental illness and property damage.
