The Goshen Snowmobile Club is getting $100,000 from Ottawa to buy a snow-grooming machine for its trails.
Fundy-Royal MP Alaina Lockhart announced the grant from ACOA yesterday saying this will help sustain snowmobiling as the leading winter tourism product in the province.
The major crime unit of the police is at the Best Western Hotel on Majors Brook Drive investigating an apparent double homicide. The investigation is in its early stages and no details are available yet, other than the call came in from the hotel yesterday evening.
Police have cordoned off one corridor on the ground floor but guests are allowed to come and go.
