More malicious emails at UdeM

Two more malicious mass emails targeting a female student have been sent to students and staff at the Universite de Moncton, bringing the total number of emails to six since the weekend.

RCMP and officials say the emails originated from a server in Europe and they believe the messages are coming from the same source using different email addresses. The Mounties have identified a suspect, but haven’t been able to contact him as he is in either Euope or possibly Morocco.

Millions to expand busy overpass

The province and Ottawa are providing almost $14 million to improve the busy interchange at Route 15 and Harrisville Boulevard.

The overpass will be widened to four lanes from three and a roundabout will be built at each end to eliminate all left turns and traffic lights.

Treasury Board President Roger Melanson said the government understands residents want infrastructure that is safe for travellers, helps support economic development and is reliable.
