The Friends of the Moncton Hospital Annual Campaign has reached the $924,000 mark of it’s $1.1 million goal. Funds will purchase leading edge
instruments and video technology for the Minimally Invasive Surgical Suites, computer navigation equipment to enhance knee surgeries, a high-tech system for evaluating and diagnosing esophageal problems and a digital marking system to improve cataract surgery.

Church Robber
A Moncton man will be sentenced in April for stealing money from his church.
Paul Meunier-Collins pleaded guilty to defrauding St. Augustine Catholic Church while he was its financial administrator. He was charged after an audit showed over $150,000 had been taken from church accounts between 2003 and 2014.
A sentencing hearing will be held April 21st.
