Medavie has donated $150,000 to the Peter McKee Community Food Centre, according to the Times and Transcript.
The money will help the centre complete a teaching kitchen where they show clients how to cook and prepare food to help them eat healthier. It’s 92% of the way to its fund raising goal of a million dollars with the kitchen under construction now at the Food Depot Alimentaire.
