Tuition is going up at the Universite de Moncton, according to the Times and Transcript.
The university’s Board of Governors approved a budget on the weekend that includes a defict of just under $670,000…fourth consecutive year they’ve run a deficit. To cover it they decided to raise tuitions 2% next year. Declining enrollment at the Moncton, Shipigan and Edmunston campuses is blamed for much of the shortfall.
