More and more Mexican refugees

There’s an increasing number of Mexicans seeking asylum in Canada.

New figures from the Immigration and Refugee Board show that March recorded the highest number yet of new claims so far this year…110 compareed to 85 in February and 71 in January. That’s 266 in just the first three months compared to 241 in all of last year. One of the main reasons is Canada dropped the requirement for Mexdicans to get a visa before coming here.

U-S warns North Korea

A warning from the Americans to North Korea that the era of what it calls strategic patience is over.

President Donald Trump said the U-S is working with China on the North Korea problem.

Vice-President Mike Pence expressed impatience with North Korea’s unwillingness to move forward on getting rid of its nuclear weapons after a failed missile test.  Pence said the U-S and its allies will achieve their objectives through peaceable means or ultimately by whatever means necessary. He also the U-S’ committment to South Korea is iron-clad.
