There’s been another fire….this one leaving four people homeless. Nobody was hurt.
The fire broke out yesterday evening in one side of a duplex on Brevet Street in the north end, causing extensive damage…but the other unit suffered as well…so four people have to find someplace else to live.
Fire investigators will be on scene this morning looking for the cause.
That controversial campground proposed for Parlee Beach has lost another of its major investors.
Michel Boudreau, who founded Shediac Camping Ltd., has also now pulled out of the development. Boudreau, who is the regional sheriff for Moncton, admits he’s leaving because of all the controversy. Five of the seven original investors have now withdrawn from the project.
