The province is providing $345,000 to Venn Innovation for the full implementation of InspireNB. The career exploration and planning resource for young people began as a pilot program in 2014. Venn, along with the departments of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour; and Education and Early Childhood Development, will implement it province-wide.

The 41st Annual Exploration, Mining and Petroleum Conference is underway in Fredericton. The two-day event brings together more than 200 delegates for presentations on minerals and energy in the province. The sector contributed about $400 million to the New Brunswick economy last year, while employing about 2500 people.
