A busy night in the NHL. The Leafs downed the Predators 6-2. Canadiens lost a 4-3 overtime decision to the Panthers. Senators beat the Flyers 3-2 in a shootout. Ducks dumped the Oilers 4-1. Rangers handled the Canucks 7-2. Jets shut down Chicago 4-0. Flames blanked the Wild 1-0.
In the NBA…the Raptors lost 121-117 to the Cavaliers in Cleveland.
A bill has been introduced to let the Department of Social Development gain access to CRA financial information on behalf of clients applying for certain programs. It would amend the Family Income Security, Family Services, Nursing Homes and New Brunswick Housing acts, and make it easier to apply for social assistance, public housing, long-term care, and dental and vision programs.
