$150,000 in provincial funding has been announced for downtown Riverview.
Improvements include electrical infrastructure on the riverfront trail; benches, accessible dual binoculars and bike racks; artistic and cultural interpretive structures; a mural and historical interpretive signage; and the opening of the Chocolate River Café & Resto, a coffee shop that will operate out of a shipping container.

Motorcycle fatality
A 79 year old Quebec man has been killed in a motorcycle crash near Renous.
RCMP say his motorcycle crashed on Route 108 when he lost control on a curve. He was the only one on the motorcycle. Just what caused him to lose control is still under investigation.
