In the NHL…the Senators downed the Canadiens 4-3.  Leafs lost 2-1 to Carolina. Blues beat the Bruins 4-2.

The N-H-L’s newest team has a name now. Owner Bill Foley announced the Las Vegas expansion franchise will be called the Golden Knights as they unveiled the logo and team colours of grey, gold, red and black.

A 19-year-old man was arrested and has been charged following a drug seizure in Clearview.

Yesterday, members of the Woodstock and Perth-Andover RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Route 130. Two men and a woman were arrested at the scene. One of the men and the woman were released without charges.

During the search, police seized a quantity of a substance believed to be cocaine, and several items of drug paraphernalia.

Nineteen-year-old Mackenzie O’Keefe, of Clearview, has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. He was remanded into custody and appeared in Woodstock Provincial Court for a bail hearing today.
