Prime Minister Trudeau landed in Liberia this morning on the first leg of a trip to Africa which will include the Francophonie summitt in Madagascar on the weekend. The Liberals say the visit highlights the government’s renewed engagement with the continent.

A Liberal think tank is trying to stave off criticisms in the cash for access scandal plaguing the Trudeau Government.
Canada 2020 was founded by Liberals with close links to the Prime Minister. It says it has now introduced a new donor agreement that spells out that contributions will not buy access to the P-M or anyone in his inner circle.
