A Canadian woman is among the dead in a terrorist attack in Jordan. She and another Canadian, who was wounded, were victims of a series of attacks on Jordanian police.
Seven officers and two civilians were also killed and 34 wounded. Security officials say six gunmen are dead and a large number of weapons were seized.

In the NHL… the Senators took down the Islanders 6-2. Columbus won its ninth straight game 4-3 in overtime over the Canucks. Jets buried the Avalanche 4-1. Bruins shut down the Kings 1-0.
In the NBA…the Raptors chewed up Orlando 109-79.
In the NFL…the Patriots clinched a bye in the first round of the playoffs with a 16-3 win over Denver. Dallas won the late game 26-20 over the Buccaneers.
