The Magnetic Hill Zoo will be expanding thank’s to a $200,000 grant from ACOA.
The expansion of the Zoo’s education centre will allow it to double the capacity of programs, many of which have waiting lists. Zoo Manager Bruce Dougan told the Times and Transcript it’ll allow them to produce a whole new generation of conservationists.
Parks Canada is advertising for someone to run the 9 hole golf course at Fundy National Park.
The Parks people say they want to concentrate on delivering their core mandate to protect and preserve Canada’s natural heritage and culture. So it’s looking for a private operator to run the course which was built in 1948. The deadline for proposals is February 15.
