There were a couple of multi-vehicle accidents on icy highways around Toronto yesterday.

At least 15 people were taken to hospital from one west of Toronto when a dozen vehicles slid into each other. The injuries were all minor.

About an hour before that, seven vehicles piled up on another highway injuries 5 people…again none injured too seriously.

A third of Canadians admit that they have texted while stopped at a red light in the last month.

The survey by the Canadian Automobile Association showed almost 70% per cent thought using their phones at a red light is unacceptable, but 33% admitted still doing it. It is illegal and you face a hefty fine.
