Testimony ends at impaired driving trial of former Mounty

Testimony is done at the trial of a former Mounty on impaired driving charges after the defence wrapped up its case, according to the Times and Transcript. 49 year old Ronald Cleveland will be back in court on the 24th when the lawyers will deliver their closing arguments.

Cleveland, who was a sargent with Codiac RCMP, was arrested after a man was spotted struggling to drive away from a gas station in Riverview in March of 2014.

Moncton website upgrade

Moncton is spending over $120,000 to update its website to make it easier for people with smartphones and tablets to access.

The current one set up in 2007 is very dense and not easy to navigate on mobile devices.

The new site, expected to be ready by the end of the summer, will fix that.  Another consideration is the ability for staff to update it with emergency information in storms, accidents and so on.
