Police are investigating a stabbing downtown area after finding a 38 year old man with puncture wounds on his hand.
Officers say they got a call around 5:00 yesterday afternoon about a knife incident in the area of Gottingen and Cogswell. Police say a suspect produced a box cutter and swung it at the victim, striking him in the hand. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 17 year old youth is set to appear in youth court today after a car was stolen from the Canada Games Centre parking lot and driven at high speeds through Clayton Park last night.
Police spotted the vehicle with its lights turned off, but after it sped up on Glenforest Drive, they stopped the chase. Then they moved in when they saw the car pull into a residence.
