A former nursing home cleaner has been sentenced for sexual assault. 59-year-old Joseph Comeau of Dartmouth was found guilty back in February. He’ll do 90 days in jail, which will be on weekends so he can keep getting medical care. The incident happened in May 2015 with a resident at Northwood.

Another dead right whale in Gulf of St. Lawrence
Another dead right whale has been seen in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. DFO says another whale is alive but entangled in fishing gear east of New Brunswick. The latest right whale death makes for eight total this summer.
