Stephen McNeil promised the Liberals would invest in modernizing and expanding hospitals. There would be a major expansion of the IWK Emergency Department, QEII redevelopment, a 10-bed hospice in Halifax and a new operating room at Hants Community Hospital in Windsor are among projects.
