A 40 year old woman will be in court today after a weekend fire.
A house on Pleasant street, with two apartments, was torched early Saturday evening. Nobody was hurt but there was significant damage. The fire was deemed suspicious and the woman was arrested a short time later.
Six teens will be in court in Bridgewater today for sentencing after pleading guilty to distributing intimate images of 20 girls without their consent.
The Crown attorney said in March he hopes this case raises awareness about the criminal consequences of sexting…but expert Dr. Wayne MacKay at Dalhousie doubts it in what he calls a world of teenage hormones and sexuality run amok.
