In the NHL….the Leafs edged the Sabres 2-1. Senatorsa shut down the Canucks 1-0. Flames burned the Sharks 3-2. Washington edged the Jets 4-3 in overtime. Oilers lost 5-3 decision to the Rangers. The Bruins downed the Lightning 4-3 in a shootout.
The NFL’s thursday night game saw the Falcons beat the Buccaneers 43-28.
The Canada – Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board says no bids were received for the latest call. Six parcels are no longer up for bid and remain Crown land. 1, 2, and 3 were in shallow water on the Scotian Shelf, south of Sable Island; 4, 5 and 6 were south of those, on the outer shelf and slope of the central Scotian margin.
