A Chester man is facing charges after reporting a home invasion that never happened.
RCMP got a call to Pig Loop Road early yesterday after a homeowner complained someone tried to force their way into his house and the man fled when he fired a gun outside.
The Mounties say further investigation determined the home invasion never happened…so a 28 year old man has been charged with public mischief and careless use of a fire arm. He’ll be in court next month.
