Drivers of long-combination vehicles, which have multiple tandem trailers on one tractor truck, can have free movement between provinces. Harmonizing the standards is meant to remove a barrier for economic growth.

Nova Scotians divided on possible teachers’ strike: CRA poll
Nova Scotians are divided in supporting a potential teachers’ strike. The latest Corporate Research Associates poll shows 47% completely or mostly support strike action. 44% completely or mostly oppose it, while 8% don’t know or didn’t say. Support is notably stronger among females and people under 55 years old.
