Halifax Regional Police are on scene of an injury motor vehicle accident on Agricola Street at McCully Street early this morning. Officers tried to stop a vehicle which fled. The vehicle then hit a power pole. The occupant was taken to the QE2 with non life-threatening injuries.

Since the accident involved police, SIRT has been called in to investigate.

Police are investigating a car-pedestrian accident around 5:30 yesterday afternoon involving a 3 year old girl.

The little girl ran into a crosswalk on Gottingen Street near Uniacke Street and hit the side of a vehicle. She was taken to hospital but wasn’t injured. No decision on any charges.
