No charges will be laid after a photo of a man holding a realistic-looking paintball gun prompted a partial evacuation of a St. Mary’s university dorm.
Security staff were shown a photo Friday evening which was posted on social media . Police found the student and quickly determined it was a paintball gun, not an assault rifle. Police say no charges will be laid but also pointed out people should not post photos of themselves on social media with guns that look real.
