Driver Taken to Hospital after Rolling Car on Lawrencetown Road

A 37-year-old man was taken to hospital after rolling his vehicle on Lawrencetown Road early this morning. RCMP were call to scene around 1:30 this morning. The driver had to be extracted from the vehicle by fire officials. The extent of his injuries is not known. A section of Lawrencetown Road or Highway 207 between Alf Lane and Doherty Drive remains closed this morning while RCMP investigate the cause of the crash.

Pedestrian Struck in Halifax

A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Halifax last night. The male victim was not in crosswalk when he was struck while crossing South Park Street shortly after 11pm. His injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
