The City of Halifax is going to war against rats.
Regional Council this week will consider setting up a specialized team to actively attack the critters. A lot of construction downtown has forced rats out of their traditional homes and they are wandering around looking for new ones….especially along the waterfront.
A report recommends, among oher things, that developers include rat control in their construction mitigation plans.
