A Hamilton man is among five people killed in a shooting at a music festival in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
49 year old Kirk Wilson was working security and ran towards the gunfire when it erupted at the event put on by Canadian promoters. Two other Canadians were wounded.
Mexican authorities believe the shooting was drug-related and the gunman is still at large.
A class action lawsuit has been certified by a judge against the RCMP for sexual harrassment.
That means the court can move ahead with approval of a settlement announced last May between the federal government and the women.
The tentative deal creates six categories of claimants with the most egregious abuse claimants getting to $220,000.
