A Lower Sackville man has been found not guilty of sexual assault, sexual exploitation and other charges, according to Local Xpress.

42 year old Randy Dwayne Hillier stood trial in November and yesterday the judge delivered his verdict acquitting him on all charges involving a girl under 16. Justice Patrick Duncan says the evidence he heard at trial left him with a reasonable doubt.

Work will begin soon on upgrading sewer lines along the east side of Northwest Arm…some of which are a century old, according to CBC.

$12 million is budgeted for the upgrade on the pipes from the roundabout to Pt. Pleasant Park…but they won’t be digging them up. They’ll be pulling a waterproof lining through the pipes to keep them from leaking.
