Dalhousie has approved in principle putting a fountain in Rotary Memorial Park. The Dalhousie Rotary Club pitched the idea, and the town will provide continuously flowing water. Some kind of control, like motion sensors, would have to be put in, as per the passed motion.

No appeal coming in Edmunston manslaughter acquittal
Public Prosecutions Services won’t appeal the acquittal of a man in the death of another in Edmunston. Justice Larry Landry acquitted Gabriel Cyr of manslaughter last month after Ricky Cyr died after a bar fight in December 2014. It’s been determined that the verdict was supported by the evidence, and is reasonable.
