A Campbellton man has been charged with breaching an undertaking. 34-year-old Derek Bernard was already up on assault and breaching probation, but was arrested after the alleged breach this past weekend. He’s gone for a 30-day psychiatric assessment, and is now due back in court by May 3rd.

Sentencing for driving while suspended
A Campbellton woman who drove while suspended multiple times has been sentenced. 46-year-old Laura Lee Blais was arrested last week after not appearing in court for three winter 2016 incidents. She was given a total of 90 days in jail less six for time served, as well as a year’s probation and driving ban.
