Joshua Sears, Alex Douthwright; and Brandon Bernatchez of Atholville recently won the senior boys’ team title at the Atlantic Youth Bowling provincial tournament.
Following that, they will vie for the Atlantic bowling championship in Halifax at the end of the month.
A number of Grade 12 students from Sugarloaf Senior High will be at the National conference for Canadian Youth Against Impaired Driving in Edmonton this weekend.
They will discuss the dangers of distracted driving, impaired driving by drugs and alcohol; and MADD Canada will present stories about real life people that have been affected by those issues.
