Dalhousie hen debate

Dalhousie town council is mulling over whether to allow people to keep a few hens within town limits.

That would require a bylaw change, for that to happen.

The town clerk-treasurer is now going to ask other municipalities that allow some chickens, what rules they have in place; and then report back to council.

Local clothing drives

Gently used clothing is being sought by the Tide Head School.

They are taking part in the New Brunswick Association for Community Living clothing drive.

In addition, Jacquet River School’s Spring Cleaning with Meaning Clothing Drive is underway for the same organization.

Donations can be made at both schools up to April 28th between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
