Disappointment for the Restigouche River Watershed Management Council

The Restigouche River Watershed Management Council is disappointed that the feds won’t allow any retention of salmon grilse again this year in the Restigouche River on the New Brunswick side, it’s catch-and-release only; again.  That’s due to concerns about the salmon stocks in the rivers on the southern Gulf of St. Lawrence area.

Across the river in Quebec, anglers will be allowed to retain some salmon.
