RCMP are investigating after tools were stolen in Saint-André. It happened sometime between last Wednesday night and early last Thursday from a garage on a farm. The tools include a Miller soldering iron, CP pneumatic tools, Makita, Milwaukee and Dewalt electrical tools; and socket sets and mechanical keys. Most are inscribed with “G.A.M.” or would be partially painted red.

Dalhousie lagoon fight with the province
Dalhousie has fired a warning shot across the province’s bow by saying “Keep your jail junk out of our sewage lagoon!”
Town council says the province is in violation of a town bylaw regarding junk that is ground up and flushed from the Dalhousie Regional Correctional Centre.
Council added that the macerator at the jail grinds up items like old sneakers and other junk, that gets into the sewer system; and plugs it up.
