RCMP dealt with a standoff this morning in Dalhousie.  They closed an area near Ramsay and Adelaide streets.  A man was taken into custody.

Dalhousie and the Dalhousie Business Improvement Area Corporation say they have five candidates to replace departed director Tanya LeBlanc.

That new BIAC employee will also promote culture and tourism, which could lead to more people shopping in downtown businesses.
