Thanks to cash from the local rotary club and the provincial taxpayers, Dalhousie is getting a new fountain in Rotary Square.
The project has a price tag of about $300,000.
According to Campbellton city council, it cost the city more than $2 million to have it patrolled by the RCMP last year.
That does not include about $100,000 in costs for the Arran Street detachment.
In addition, in 2016; more than $1.6 million was spent by Campbellton on its fire service.
