Campbellton ended 2016 with a small surplus, according to the accounting firm of Allen, Paquet & Arseneau.

There was a surplus in the 2016 general operating fund of just under 42 thousand dollars, an increase from 2015 when the surplus was 33 thousand.

The Campbellton library is adding video games to attract younger visitors.

The games will be confined to the library’s “teen room,” which is getting a makeover.

The room’s revamp will be launched June 23rd.
