The 68th annual Shediac Lobster Festival has broken the record again for world’s longest lobster roll…but it could be for the last time.
The volunteers put together a lobster roll that is 180 feet 2 inches, smashing the record set just a couple of weeks ago in New Hampshire.
Organizer Pierre Cormier says this is the last year the group will do this. He told the Times and Transcript they can’t make it any longer. As it is, they had to assemble it inside the Shediac Festival Arena and then take it outside to bake in the parking lot.
