CBRM Councillors have endorsed the plan to revitalize the downtown area. A steering committee will determine just what steps are need to implement the $10.5 million plan, according to the CBC.
The overall project is expected to take 10 years with most of the spending on revitalizing Charlotte Street between Dorchester and Townsend streets. There would also be a public space at Charlotte and Wentworth.
