Air Canada sues Airbus over Halifax crash landing

Air Canada has filed a lawsuit against Airbus in connection with the crash landing at the Halifax airport a couple of years ago.

In its statement of claim, the airline alleges the French aircraft manufacturer failed to identify shortcomings in the Airbus 320.

A couple of dozen people were injured when the plane came down short of the runway. There’s also a class-action lawsuit underway naming Air Canada and Airbus as well as Nav Canada, Transport Canada and the airport authority.
