The Gallant Government has unveiled another program to provide help with tuitions. This one is for families with incomes over $60,000…the cutoff for the free tuition program.
Premier Gallant says this one recognizes some families with incomes over that $60,000 threshhold, who have several children, might find it hard paying tuitions…so this is designed to help the middle-class with the government paying a percentage of the tuition based on income and number of children. They’re still working on the details.
It’s expected to cost the government upwards of $3 million a year and will apply only to publicly-funded universities and colleges.
