RCMP say 33-year-old Lionel Desmond, his 31-year-old wife Shanna, their 10-year old daughter Aaliyah and his 52-year-old mother Brenda were shot last night in Upper Big Tracadie. The situation appears to be a murder-suicide, with Lionel’s wounds being self-inflicted. He’s served with the army in Afghanistan, and had PTSD.
