Ottawa has identified the Canadian killed in a terrorist attack in Turkey as Alaa Al-Muhandis.
The 29 year old is reportedly survived by her husband and two children in Milton, Ontario.
In a statement, Prime Minister Trudeau said Canada grieves the senseless loss of a Canadian citizen and remains steadfast in its determination to work with allies and partners to fight terrorism.
The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack and the search continues for the gunman.
