Marine rescue workers on Northumberland Strait are on the lookout for a pod of wayward dolphins after three of the animals washed up dead on the shore of Merigomish Harbour in the last week.
The remains of two of the dolphins were discovered last week then a third was found on the shore of Big Island yesterday.
Andrew Reid of the Marine Animal Response Society says his group is trying to determine if any of the 15 dolphins seen last week in the area are still there and if so, try to guide them back to open water.
